Sainte-Maxime, your haven of peace

Swimming and water sports on the beaches

Take advantage of your hotel stay in Saint-Tropez to do some sightseeing in Sainte-Maxime! Appreciated for its calm and unspoilt setting, this seaside resort is home to family beaches and wild coves that contrast with the trendy spots of Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle.

On the Madrague beach, the downtown beach or the Pointe des Sardinaux, you can swim, relax, snorkel and build sandcastles. Remember the cartoon characters Babar and Céleste? Don’t miss a stroll along Plage des Éléphants, the setting that inspired the famous pachyderm couple’s honeymoon!

A stroll around the port of Sainte-Maxime

In Sainte-Maxime’s harbor, you can still admire the colorful “pointus” of traditional Provencal fishermen, rubbing shoulders with pleasure boats.

The Bateaux Verts shuttle offers you the opportunity to cross the Gulf to Saint-Tropez. An opportunity to take a little cruise on the sea!

On the quayside, you can also enjoy a drink on the terrace or browse the boutiques. Stop at the fishermen’s stalls to discover the wealth of Mediterranean fish!

City tour on the little train

A fun and relaxing way to discover the village’s heritage in one go, opt for a ride on Sainte-Maxime’s little tourist train ! The 45-minute course takes in the city streets and offers breathtaking views of the gulf.

You’ll pass Sainte-Maxime’s landmarks, from the semaphore to the Château Gaumont, the port and the square tower.

Culture and nature for your visits

In Sainte-Maxime, discover a destination where culture meets nature! Discover the city’s architecture and heritage, with its mix of modernity, Art Deco and traditional Provencal style.

There are also fascinating museums, such as the Phonograph and Mechanical Music Museum.

On the nature front, head for the Delfend trail for an escapade on the heights of the Gulf, with views as far as the Maures and Estérel massifs.

Sainte-Maxime 15 min from the hotel

The Marina Hôtel Club is ideally located for visiting Sainte-Maxime and regularly enjoying its beaches.
